Another newbie question about the site......

I noticed that when I check the box about being notified of new replies to my topics I never seem to get an e-mail.  Is the notification only when I am on the site.   

I thought I saw something in the profile that said something about being notified via email when replies are made and thought I checked that as well... but my brain could still be in the dust cloud that is caused by so much sanding. Smiley

The software is somewhat problematic on that option.  Sometimes it works...
