I haven't been here in awhile...
Aug 17th, 2013 at 6:41am

We got busy with moving and the shop hasn't been set up in the new house yet.  Then I have my annual echo and find out my aortic stenosis is much worse.  Nothing but a whirlwind of doctors since then.

I'm having aortic valve replacement on Friday the 23rd at Mayo in Rochester.

I truly miss the turning and the friendship on the board.  Hope to be back with you soon.

Lark, good to hear from you.
Sometimes "life happens" and keeps us from doing what we wish. We will all be thinking of you and hoping for a speedy recovery so you can get back to turning.

Lark.  Nice to hear from you. I am sure things will go well Friday.  I will keep you in my prayers.
Follow the Drs. orders and you will be turning soon.

Do as your Dr. says.  Leave the nurses alone and get well soon.

I'm home for a few days now.  The surgery went well, I was discharged after 5 days.  Rebuilding my strength now for awhile.

Lark,  I am glad to hear it went well.  I hope your recovery/rebuilding does also.  Take care of yourself and don't push it too hard.
