Built something like this a few years back, instead of using a board I used PVC piping. More then happy to say goodbye to the cable/sat companies. I enjoy "ME TV" & "THIS TV" and still have Netflix  if I'm in the mood for a commercial free movie.  500+ channels or 8-10 channels what's the difference nothing on (new anyway) is worth watching.  I'm glad I've gone this route, don't miss sat TV at all anymore. Plus turning and carving is way more interesting  Smiley

I cut our cable over two years ago myself - like you said, nothing good on no matter how many channels there are.

Am glad to see my wife and I are not the only ones still watching over-the-air TV.  Trash there too but only watch TV long enough to eat a meal or to give myself a break from work.  Seems like the one or two shows I did watch were the ones they re-ran during the summer!

I have found that hooking an old notebook computer to the TV gets me everything I want to watch.

Just started watching "The Americans" it seems to be excellent so far, two episodes in.
