new shop!!!
Nov 27th, 2013 at 9:37pm

Well, I finally got enough stuff and with the help of a little plastic, I got my new shop under roof. It wiil probably be next spring now before I move into it. Still got to do all of the wireing and insulation. Slow, but a work in progress. I will see if I can get some pics on here later.. Oh yes,   it is 16 X 24 with a gambrel roof.(barn style). I have been gathering lumber and such for about a year for this. Thumbs Up

And one more.

It actually took 2 steps to reduce them to fit.  I usually take my pics for here on a lower resolution.

My only question is, "How are you going to get big tools in there?"

My usual solution for big stuff through small openings....Grease it up and go FAST sometimes REAL FAST.   Grin

Looks like your shop has great potential.  For myself I dislike cords on the floor.  I would suggest as you wire your shop think about overhead outlets or cord drops for some tools.  I dropped 220 for my PM plus 110 for accesories.  110 for the table saw ect.

I'm not even going to guess what your better half has to say about that Wink

I've been kicking around the idea of building a shed for a couple of years now, started thinking about 24 X 32 and now I am down to a 12 X 16 but it will be starting in the spring Smiley

Hey Greg. When I first started planning, I planned on 12X16. then went to 14X20. After I layed it out on the ground I figured I mite as well go 16X24. And this will probably not be big enough.. LOL
