Last Minute.....
Dec 26th, 2013 at 8:45am

I get slower as I get older... and have taken "retirement" to heart. I am now much more adept at procrastinating. So, I had to deal with the "last minute rush" for some small presents. Birdhouse ornaments were my salvation. Did 17 in all, but only remembered to grab one quick snapshot with my phone of one batch getting their first coats of finish.  The snowman... a special gift for a special niece who collects them. The two body segments are hollow to be used as "hiding places". Shot these pix on Christmas Eve just before I got it wrapped. Again, I apologize for the picture quality.

Don as aways your work is exceptional no matter what you put your hand too. I just love the snowman and I know it will be appreciated as well as the beautiful ornaments

Dennis and Wally, this PDF:

gives you some sizes and a bit of "how I did it" information. I hope it is what you need. If not, send me a PM.

Thanks for all the kind comments, guys. Now that the holiday season is about to wrap up I am hoping to spend a bit of time in front of the lathe trying to get a little less rusty... and perhaps a bit faster if I am lucky.

Happy New Year!
