Concisely done, Alan.   Wink

I use the turners tape from Lee Valley quite a bit. I have found that its holding strength benefits from leaving it alone under under pressure for a while before actually turning the piece that it is stuck to.

Grant, I agree.  I like to allow at least 30 seconds under pressure to activate the adhesive fully.

However, by using the round jam blocks as shown, the pressure is being applied for much longer than that... during the entire rounding process.

Some folks are asking about the brand and vendor of the tape shown in the video.

I didn't want to promote a particular brand of tape nor any vendor in the video.
The name in the cardboard core of the tape sometimes varies from what’s shown in the photos on vendors web sites.

- I generally purchase mine from WoodCraft Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

- I haven’t used, but suspect that this may be the same item from Rockler Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Searching for 1" x 36 yard double sided tape may yield other sources.
