Well, I have been talking to my film guy about my next video, and he presented me with the question of what format did I want to sell it in. It seems like the video disc is becoming obsolete, with more preference for analog down loadable forms, like some thing from a web site, or Netflix. Seems like every one, well except for me, has the smart phones, and i Pads for all their viewing. Having a down loadable format would be less expensive for me, and probably the viewers, and I wouldn't have to carry an inventory.

Reed, you may want to consider both, I know that sounds like a PITA but consider this.
The average age of wood workers/turners is XX, many still have VHS tapes lying around.
You could copy the way amazon does it, downloads are one price and for a couple bucks more you can purchase a physical DVD for those who prefer it.

I like having a DVD in my hand.  I also do not like to donwload music, preferring to go to the store and buy the CD.

I have an old (microsoft Zune) digital music player that I can no longer upload music (that's ok, I like the tunes I have) .  I use that rather than load tunes into my iPhone.  I guess I am just an old dog and these are new tricks.....

Hmm, still thinking about this one. Another consideration was to put it on You Tube with the adds. Personally, when they come up with the small pop ups on the bottom that I can X out, I will watch. If it has the 'you can skip to video in 5 seconds' by the time 5 seconds is up, I have clicked it about a hundred times. With the 'your video will start in 30, 29,... seconds' I will skip it 99% of the time, well except for the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga singing 'That's Why the Lady is a Tramp', that was worth it.... Who knew she could actually sing, but again, that is another story....
