Depends on the day. I've had shows where I sold a dozen rolling pins and the next one not a one, but boxes were popular. The next year at the same shows it was natural edge bowls and the other show were peppermills. That's why I always have a wide selection of items.. rolling pins, peppermills, bowls, boxes, spatulas, tops, magic wands...

Some people are like slinkies... totally worthless but it puts a smile on your face when you push them down the stairs.

You can charge more for a good art piece but the utility bowls that serve a purpose seem to always sell better for me.

Like Breck said, utility bowls, from about 3 inch diameter up to 14 or so. Any over 14 tend to sit a while, and are more for big families or people who entertain a lot. Deep bowls, shallow bowls, plates, platters, anything designed for daily use. I never sold pens, and have turned 3 for pens for the troops. Boxes sell in fits, not at all to can't keep them in stock. Same with rolling pins, spurtles, potato mashers, and other treen wear. Have a little of everything. Show business is very fickle.
