Another informative video, Alan. I have only one lathe on which I use draw bars, but the centers and mandrels are different lengths. Rather than having draw bars of different lengths, I have a wing nut on the all thread. I thread the bar in as you do, then spin the wing nut up against the hand wheel.

Alan,  Well done.  I wish you had made that about 4 years back when I was trying to figure out just what the heck a draw bar was. Smiley
