I have been gaining knowledge and tips from here for years and when I first started I was just a rookie, but without what I learned from the turners here and the incouragement I got from you guys I doubt I would have kept at it. Please donate a few dollars each you will spend $25. on junk in no time but if all would find it in there heart to give just $25. it would seriously help keep this forum going.

I'd like to donate a couple tools to this, but I'm not a vendor. How do I go about it??  One is a Chuck Plate, and the other is a Tail Stock Steady. ............. Jerry (in Tucson)

Definitely not off topic! I think most all of us will agree that the wealth of knowledge, the willingness to share, to help those just starting out and the overall fellowship we experience on WR are worth so much more than what we would spend on one turning blank or a couple of pen kits...

Well said, Len...

I don't know about most of you but time in the shop turning is therapy for me. I just figured I would donate to the site instead of paying a therapist for my mental health.

By the way it's tax season could this be called a medical deduction!!

From someone who has been being paid to prepare taxes since 1968, NO.  But good try. Grin Grin

What about entertainment expenses or work related expenses  Cheesy

In all seriousness, I've spent $20+ many times in the past and didn't receive anywhere near as much fun and knowledge.
Thank you everyone who contributes to this site, we all appreciate it very much.
