New shop
May 27th, 2015 at 3:59pm

Up until now my wood shop was in an old block building that I run my construction business out of .
Trying to heat it in the winter was almost impossible. I decieded to get me a new lathe and didn't want it down there with all the moisture so started myself a new shop at home. A lot more handy as well as the other shop was about 5 miles from where I live so wasn't handy at all.
Started putting tools in and trying to get everything located in the right place not quite there yet but it is coming along.
New lathe will be here in mid July so still have some time to get everything in place.need to get the dust collector pipes run and that should about finish it up.

Len the new shop is 20x28 560 sqft. It has 2 x 6 wall and insulated to the max to try and keep the heating bills down. First time I will have a heated space as soon as I walk in. Will be nice.

Very nice. If you have a new lathe coming, that will make four?  Love it. Enjoy your new shop, I live in mine during the daylight hours. Sure make retirement nice.

A:) Let's take roll call to see if we're all here.
B:) Well now, it could be that we are all here, then some of us aren't all there.
A:) Right, let the record show that we are here.
