Airshield Pro FS

I bought one of these a few weeks ago and find it too annoying for my liking. I am a small guy ( 5-9 145) and to keep the band from dropping down on my glasses and rendering me blind, I have to tighten the clamp to the ache point. I like the way it works but I am not anxious to put it back on.  Hood, battery, charger and flow meter. In the bag, in the box. Maybe 3 hrs on my head. I did not receive a manual, but it's online.  Interested ? PM

Had the same problem./ My headsize is 7 1/8. Solved it by putting some padding in the top of the unit. That allows the mask to ride higher on my head so I don't have to rely on pressure to keep it there. Now I wear it hours with no problem

I love my Airshield pro. When I first got it it took me a while to get the adjustments right and to get used to it.  It will never feel like having nothing on!  But it is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment I have.

I don't have the Pro, but I love my AirShield.  It's lighter than the Pro.

OK, I'll try some padding to see if I can get it to sit more comfortably. It's looking down that is the problem. I have platforms I stand on to essentially lower my big lathe so I can move the tools with the handle held against my hip ( how did people use this thing with the handles in their armpits ?), and hand/power sanding is always looking down as well. Never afraid to modify, maybe I'll try relocating the battery to reduce the top-heaviness. I can't imagine being tethered by a hose.

It gets easier the more you use it. The first few times I used mine I thought I'd throw it away! Now I use it without a second thought.

Had one -- sold it! Could not handle the weight, the noise or the head ache.  There are other alternatives that are not torture

I had a Triton and loved it but the importer quit bringing them into the states and closed support on them so I can not get parts.

Just found out about this, had to buy a Trend.

I may be interested. Do you still have it and how much?
