Hello from SE Michigan.

Hello, Iv'e been turning for about a year now. Started with an old Dunlap lathe a friend gave me. Bearings went in a few months. Another friend gave me a newer craftsman tube bed lathe. that worked well until about 2 months ago I got a 1972 Powermatic model 90 at a local high school auction. I restored it and really love turning on it.

I'm here to improve my turning skills and maybe help some beginners.

My lathe and some of my bowls.

Welcome Gordon.  Make yourself at home.    Nice rehab on the lathe.

Everyday liberating nice things from ordinary chunks of wood---and I like gnarly wood, the outcome is nearly always better than the start.
