Where is the best place to get a sanding attachment for my drill? My local hardware stores do not carry anything.

A:) Let's take roll call to see if we're all here.
B:) Well now, it could be that we are all here, then some of us aren't all there.
A:) Right, let the record show that we are here.

Me 2 for Vince...

You want at least one main mandrill to mount in the drill, I have a couple for each size disc, so 1, 2, and 3 inch. You also want interface pads, which you put on the mandrill. Mostly these are cheaper to replace than the main mandrill. I use firm ones with the radius edge for grits up to about 220, then go to a medium one for grits 220 and above. I don't use the really soft ones unless I am going over 400.

I made my own from hex screw driver bits, particle board and beach flip flops.

Epoxy the bit into a circle of wood then epoxy the flop flop add some Velcro and turn to size.

Buck and a quarter for six bits 99 cents for flip flops and get 8 to 10 from each pair.
