Hello from Eastern Oregon.
Dec 31st, 2015 at 5:56pm

I've been perusing the forum since I joined. I enjoy seeing how everyone is supportive and into sharing/gaining knowledge.

I've been carving wood for over 20 years. Only as a hobby and mainly to pass time. I've been on the hunt for a mid sized wood lathe for a while. Either the price a too high or the machines aren't up to my standards.

Anyone here live near Hermiston Oregon?

Welcome.  We have a number of members in the Portland & Eugene areas, but the nearest members I can think of live in Pasco, WA.

I watch the site pretty closely. Don't respond much, yet. Mostly learning and keeping an eye out for a good used lathe. Not looking for a small one or overpriced. Been watching a few go thru craigslist...
