Just stated turning in December and I'm hooked. Started with wanting to turn a few wine stoppers for Christmas gifts, now I'm turning bowls. Love live edge bowl work.

I'm a Machinist by trade so that helped a bit on the learning curve but it still messes with my head holding the cutting tool and not having the rigidity of a tool holder.

Great site learning a lot on here.
