Hi all, Im trying to find a supplier of color wood, that actually has more of a selection than 5 pieces. Also is there anyone out there doing custom color orders? Thanks for any info.

You may want to consider getting some aniline dyes and mix up your own colours. Most dyes will penetrate only a little way into the wood so a dyed blank may become a completely different colour as you turn it. I haven't done much dye work but I have made my own colourings to give me control of the colours I do use. I have only added colour after my piece was finished turned. that's my 0.02 worth

there's a facebook group where they regularly offer spectraply in a variety of colors - mostly pen-blank & stopper blank sizes however...

look for "Woodworking Collective Fleamarket" group....
