Getting back into turning
Feb 15th, 2016 at 7:00pm

Did some turning when I was younger but now that I'm retired I'm restoring an 80's model VEGA 1553 and getting ready to make some shaving.

Native Texan, relocated to Kentucky by US Army and kept there for the last 40 years by a certain Kentucky lady. Grin

Retired teacher and Army Reservist. Cool

Welcome from the Cuero area!!
You know we have to let a few Texans out to keep the rest in balance/improve things.

Everyday liberating nice things from ordinary chunks of wood---and I like gnarly wood, the outcome is nearly always better than the start.
