looking for info on using resin to imbed flat decorations in a recess in bottom of bowl---type used,pitfalls,etc.---tks,joe

There are casting resins available from many turning suppliers.

Might look at what they use for bottle stoppers. You want a long work time to get out bubbles. I would try  west system because I have some. Also could try the epoxy for bar tops. Can get it a big box.
