Look a lot like a green ash bowl I turned a while back. Nice grain pattern, it should warp up nicely.

If it weighs nearly nothing it and is not too white, it could be paulownia.  If it smells like root beer it is probably sassafras.  Hard to tell what color it actually is but ash and locust would be heavier than either of the above.
