While I'm not a fan of this type of high speed production turning, I do acknowledge his skills.

Now, if he would only wear some safety glasses and stop reaching across the spinning baluster to retrieve his tools and templates.

This is why "I" have a problem with these types of videos, just because he's a professional, doesn't mean he's doing it correctly and/or safely. IMNSHO

That is impressive.  It appears he doesn't take any measurements and each one is probably identical. If you like to see some more videos with the use of a skew search "Curtis Buckanan" on YouTube.

Not trying to be a Nag, but some people don't always see what I see. The next thing you know they're mimicking this guy and getting into trouble or worse getting hurt.
Just because you don't get injured doesn't mean it's safe.

If it were me, and I had to turn more than three, I would get a duplicator.
