Diamond bowl

Finished the bowl this weekend.  Made from poplar, walnut, and black veneer.  About 6 1/2" dia. and 4" tall.

The bowl looks good.  To fix your alignment issues I would suggest either using a solid diamond and building the segment around it or building the halves into individual segments prior to ring assembly.  It also appears that the rings above and below have a different segment count which my eyes are drawn to.  This affects the alignment of the top ring and the feature ring.
