I was just trying something.The vision in my brain didn't quite translate to the piece.I had in mind of wanting the bottom of the bowl to look like the inside of a flower,the white inserts were suppose to represent the filament and anther in a flower.I want to try again and make the lines closer together and maybe only randomly 1/2" 3/4" to 1"long and a smaller centre.
Nothing ventured ,nothing gained.

The bottom does look a bit odd but what is distracting is the ring below the rim.   Being open and exposed really draws my eyes to it.
