For those of you that turn product and transport it to different shows and the like, what do you do with it in between finishing it and showing it? Where do you keep the p? Do you wrap them in anything? Etc.

I do boxes with paper towel in between pieces. I am thinking plastic containers now but not sure if it's good to seal them up so tight. Any thoughts?

My wife is an avid seamstress so she sews individual polyfleece bags for all of our pieces and we store them in large plastic , wheeled containers between shows.

I store the bulk of my inventory in large plastic bins separated by large sheets of tissue paper and sometimes an old towel.  A percentage of my inventory will be on shelves upstairs so I can get to them if I have a customer. Thumbs Up

I store mine on shelves in my living room area until they head to the Gallery.  I learned a lesson early on about storing them in boxes with bubble wrap.  Over time the bubble wrap will leave marks or small circles on certain finishes after being stored.

I use tissue paper and the "mover's paper" (which is basically newsprint) and then store in plastic tubs.

Mine are stored in plastic bins with each turning wrapped in an old tee shirt.  Some are mine but most were purchased at my local Salvation Army for a buck or two.   Reusable for years to come.

I have no inventory- yet! Keep giving my projects away or hoard them! Hope to chavnge that the closer to retirement i get. I would think acid free paper and a vented tote would be best.
