Hi All, I just managed to buy out a gentleman's woodturing "shop". This includes all his tools, Jet WSL1236 Lathe and an amazing amount of blanks and semi turned pieces as well as a variety of unworked wood - some cut into beams and some looking like logs.

See pic for some of the stock.

I have zero experience and hope to learn from the forum.

Welcome and what an amazing start. I would think it's fair to say from the work I see that's been done is that you've got some nice tooling also.

Thanks Buck, Indeed, included in the deal was 60 plus individual tools etc ( not counting the chucks and other bits and pieces), a fair amount of them custom made. I think I will have to select a couple and put the rest into storage until I have familiarized myself with how to use them!

Welcome Peet.  Looks like a great find.  You will have a great time figuring out what to do with it all and we are here to help and answer your questions.  Welcome to the  vortex.
