Cherry with burl maple. Very fun. I was worried about my overlapping of the segments but I am pretty happy and there are zero gaps. Planning another soon... LARGER!

I had a BEAR of a time parting the glueblock. Ended up using a saw an cleaning up the bottom on Cole jaws.

Thank you. I think the sides are flat also. I should have mentioned I miscalculated my segments for size but also waste compensation. I had a limited path and was down to a 1/4" thickness. I'm just happy I controlled the medium. My first segment so I hope to get better. I have some ideas I hope to implement from my woodworking background. Always a journey.

BTW I have watched your videos. Awesome work. Very impressive.

Try using a paper joint at the waste block, a sharp knife and a wrap with a hammer and it is off
