My first attempt with Lichtenberg  electric etching surrounded by iridescent colouring for a wall plaque .

Awesome job Rob.Did you make your own electrical etcher or order one or what?I am a flutemaker and have seen where some flutemakers have made their own and did this on their flutes..I am just toying with the idea for now.

Thanks guys.

Mike Turner,I bought a microwave at the thrift store for $15 and watched a lot of u tube to see what others had done to set it up.The neon sign one is suppose to work better ,but I don't have access to one, so went cheap with the microwave.

I really would like to make one so I can try it out and then teach the vets I teach to turn.
It is to hard for me to figure out how to do it tho.
