Those of you that do fairs or festivals know that it is a constant task of tweaking your booth to try and make it as appealing as you can.  This year I have done a lot of "tweaking" to get to the point that I feel pretty good about what my booth will look like for the fall shows this year.  My lastest addition was building the carpeted panels. This past weekend was my first outing with my new set up.  It proved to be successful.  Got the best booth award.  The three pictures represent my booth progression

Nice booth setup, good job.
Have you ever considered Gridwall panels? I recently was looking to up my game at markets and another artist suggested it to me. It worked great so flexible and easy to set up and it is see through. A bit pricey new but occasionally I found some on kijiji.

Love how it is evolving!!

The dark panel behind the shelf units really make the wood stand out.

The white panels were too much contrast between the white and the wood.

Now that it is looking soooo nice, how are sales doing?? Thumbs Up

Nice going, Steve. I'm trying to get away from tables also. How do your shelf units work out on uneven ground?

I finally got a picture resized to hopefully fit the forum.
I had to up my game to fit my space into a 8' X 5' typical vendor table space allotment in their Rec  center foyer.  The organizers were expecting tables and were very pleased with the professional look of my booth. The black grid wall panels worked perfectly and black shelves allowed the wood to pop.

Thanks for the complements.

Ralph-sales were about the same as last year at this show.  My real test will be next weekend in Nashville.

Ron--you are more than welcome to use any of the ideas you see in the booth.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Bert--your system looks good.   Glad it is working for you.

Thanks Steve, I just finished a small town Harvest Festival, and this is what my booth set up was for this event. Beautiful fall day. Lots of room between vendors. Had lots of folks in the booth and several looking through the gridwall from the outside. It worked great for this outdoor venue.

Steve, do you have any problems with uneven ground?

I have some 1/4" and 1/2" squares of plywood that I take along and use them to help level the panels and the shelving units.  To level the shelving units, it is almost a two person job, but it can be done with just one person.
