Hi All from the UK

North east England to be precise.
ThoughtI would say hello and thanks for the quick validation.
I'm hoping to find my way into the fascinating world of woodturning as a hobby to help keep me occupied in my forthcoming retirement. I have acquired a Multico Junior lathe to start with, it's quite old but is a solid machine and came with a good selection of tools at a very good price Wink
I was apprentice trained as a fitter and turner (metal lathes) so I am aware of the hazards involved with lathes but have very limited experience of machining wood.
Looking forward to working my way through this forum, hopefully benefitting from the members experience !

Welcome Dave, make yourself at home. It sounds as if you have some sound tool knowledge, always a plus when delving into something like wood turning.
