Hello Guys
               I finally got my 1624,everything went together well
               the only thing it has the motor reverse switch is
               backward.Called nova and they got right back to me
               they were very helpful and are sending out the
               replacement switch cover plate right out.I had other
               questions also and were ready to listen.Very nice
               guys.Belt change is quick once you get use to it.
               runs quiet.Already turned a pen.I,am happy with it
               so far,can,t wait to turn some bigger bowls once i
               find some more wood. Thumbs Up

A couple of tips, use them or not.
It is dark inside the headstock with the cover down. I carefully removed the plate and replace the double sided tape with rubber magnets strips. Quicker to remove the cover to check the speed and also allows for a finger from the front for the lowest speed. I have never had it vibrate/jiggle off.
Place a piece of duct tape over the slot in the tailstock for the keeper plate. Keeps the dust out between oil.
Added a slap switch at the tailstock end in the event of an emergency but thankfully have never needed to use it.

I don't have any more pics but it is 48" long, the base is 5.5" wide and the rails are 3/4X1.5. The rails extend on the top 1/2" and 1/4" underneath. Note the rail on the tailstock end is about 4" shorter than the distance to the brace. This allows you to slide it towards the tailstock and the headstock end will drop out.
Really not a lot of use expect collecting shavings but I did use it most times when I first started. (Back before I had enough stuff, make that necessities for turning, that I needed a cabinet Wink
