Besides bowls i make spinning tops.   I bought a set of paint pens from   packardwoodworks.   Cindy   uses them.    there good,  but i want to fill semi large areas on tops  it takes alot if ink.   Someone  said  that  hobbylobby   has a set that don't cost as much.  Does anyone remember the name brand of these pens?         I'm not knocking  packardwoodworks   i buy  95%  of my supplys there.   Just can't find that  post.

I use paint pens by Sharpie. They aren't perfect, but do OK for an economical top.

I use the Tombow pens.  Be sure to keep the lathe speed low or pens seem to get burnished and will not work.  Check Amazon for price
