I've been turning for 20 years and have just found this site.
As a student I started turning while in school. I found my career as a machinist and built my first lathe from old printing press material being tossed out at work. I'm now after many years the facility manager at a company that manufactures navy nuclear components for our government.

That said I do most of my turning now on my Nova DVR as I am getting to old for the long boring bars inside of the big parts. Smiley
