After 30 years from last turning in high school, have looked for a lathe for 6 months going from nova comet to powermatic. Going from zac higgins pen videos to jimmy cleves videos. Put call out for a lathe and landed a complete system of chisels (22 sorby and other chisels) chucks etcetc from a passed away wood turner including a oneway 2036 lathe, from an inheritance he got who did not wood turn. 2,700 canadian. Now I'm going to be asking a million questions as i dont even now how to sharpen chisels but determined to make the old owner proud and get good really fast.

Everyday liberating nice things from ordinary chunks of wood---and I like gnarly wood, the outcome is nearly always better than the start.

Glenn, Welcome from another with the right spelling.  Did you get a grinder with that set-up? A slow speed grinder with good wheels and a wolvrine attachment would be a start for the sharpening of those chisels.
