Ha!  Wish it always stayed this clean, a little, but I'm pretty good at keeping it cleaned up each time after I'm done.

And I built the table here (not the chairs, just refinished them to match).  Top is reclaimed cypress and base is poplar.

They are doweled every few inches along each seam and glued. Also, the top is fastened and glued down to the framing underneath. It is built as one unit that can unbolt from the legs, along with the lower cross brace, to make the table movable.  I think it should be fine but I guess time will tell.
