Cherry is just something you don't find in South Louisiana.. Two years ago a friend of mine said he was going to bring be some Cherry to make his wife a bowl, well he showed up last week and ask if I would be able to make him two bowls, I hope I have enough 🤔..

++ to that, I had two beautiful cherry bowl blanks that didn't process quick enough and they both cracked too much for a bowl so they are now drying as spindle blanks. Bummer.

I put a plastic bag over the bowl to keep air from drying and cracking the bowl,  on the lathe.

I have acres and acres of black walnut but no cherry or maple.  Then those who do have it have no black walnut what a cycle.  lol
