had to drive about 2 hours from the house but total worth it due to wife and i having a nice sat. morning drive.  also hand picking from so many boards was great.  also went to another rlumber rstore that was close by and got some koa and cocobolo at scrap pricing (to small to turn into anything but pens but great for knife sized projects )
here is how i layed out the board

had to sadly sand a bunch but used the build as a learning more deal so im ok with the outcome
