Great book!!!

I'd love to get some of those little organisms to try creating my own colors.

Currently, I can spalt wood by sitting it on end onto the dirt and leave it there for months but it would be cool to have more control over the process. Smiley

thanks Dwight. I guess I stand corrected. Not sure what to say other than  when I communicated with her via email about a month ago, She signed her emails as Seri C. Robinson. Her email address was seri.robinson@oregonstate.edu.

Well, I just found this which helps to clarify her name for me anyway.

I'm one of the lucky people taking her class in July. Bought her book last week and find it fascinating and informative.
The class description says to bring wood that we want to Spalt, so I'm planning on taking my truck with a bed load of wood.

I highly recommend her book to anyone interested in the spalting process.

She said once that the only one that calls her Sara is her mom... One of the best demos I have ever seen because every thing I used to know about spalting was wrong.....

What's up with that is that photobucket has gone greedy and now wants you to pay them or your photos are gone. I'ts one thing to want some sort of payment for services rendered but how much  they want is where the "greed" part comes in.

Just load it thru this site.

I don't see a place that says get pic from my computer, or browse pics. Tried right clicking in the profile page where my pic should be   but that option doesn't come up.

Rick, go to your profile page and click on edit my profile and then options.

There you will see the place to choose file. You can then load right from your computer. You just need to keep the size small enough. It will tell you if it is too big.

I just did it for my photo as it used to be linked back to photo bucket. Thumbs Up
