Hey guys I am looking for recommendations on a MT2 pen mandrel. Need to get a new one and  would like to know what you all are using. Smiley

Try Penn State Industries...PSI
Get a mandrel saver while you are there.

Sorry I can't be much help, I use a basic pen mandrel, nothing fancy

For other turnings, (larger diameter than pens) sometimes I use my collet chuck with a mandrel rod, depends on the project.
Turning pens is like any other thing, everyone has their own way of going about it.
Some people turn between centers, some use a mandrel saver, some need to try out every  product designed to make a "better' pen.
