New guy saying hi from rural Manitoba Canada.

I been dreaming for some time about getting myself a lathe.   (More than 20 yrs off and on )  Wife came to me yesterday and told me what she wanted to get me for xmas, but told me she had no clue what it was she was buying.   So with a big kiss and a smile I told her I had picked one out already.  Showed her and the only down side now is I must wait till xmas before i get to play with it.
Can  not remember the last time I was excited for xmas  Cheesy Grin

Everyday liberating nice things from ordinary chunks of wood---and I like gnarly wood, the outcome is nearly always better than the start.
