Any ideas on how they made this?

Just curious if anyone might know how people made these! I’ve seen many variations! It doesn’t seem to have any resin on it so wondering how they made the initial structure to turn it?
Pretty interesting!!!
Thanks

Looks to be driftwood pinned together with dowels. I wonder if it was not turned though. Sanding jig?
