How to keep a face shield from fogging?
Nov 26th, 2017 at 9:38pm

I am looking for a method to keep my face shield from fogging up.

I've tried a lot of different methods. Is there one of more that actually works?

Have you tried plexiglass spray, suppose to reduce static. My face shield is 1/2 plexiglass and bottom half is a screen, I wear a dust mask under it, the kind you get at the dentist.

Old Delta 12" 46-701 in great condition. Had it about 20+ years and turned 1 part.

I've never tried it, but I've been told that fabric softener will stop the fogging. You just apply some to a paper towel, and wipe the inside of the faceshield with it.

I bought a large box of glasses cleaners at Harbor Freight a while ago.  They advertises as being anti-fog.  While they were wet, they worked well on my glasses and my face shields.  I didn't use them fast enough and about half dried out.
