Segmented turning videos - Dennis Edwards
Feb 13th, 2018 at 10:30am

I have just discovered the great videos by segmented turner Dennis Edwards. Having watched a few of them I was searching for more and noticed that there seem to be no recent additions. Has he given up making videos, does anybody know? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Ralph.

I did find his website but even the 'new' videos are several years old...

You can probably just ask him, I believe he is a member of the Segmented woodworkers site

I correspond with Denny from time to time. When we last emailed, he was just being "lazy", but intended to get back to turning and videos in the future. Denny is a great guy - always willing to help and pass along tips.

Anyone who has ever made a video, especially one on segmenting, knows it's quite a lot of work. He may call himself lazy but I won't.

Thank you, I really like his work and it is he who initially inspired me to take an interest in open segment turning.

Ralph.

Ed: I completely agree. Those were Denny's words, not mine. He puts a lot of time into his videos and explanations of his processes. He has always been there when I've had questions. He richly deserves any time off he is taking, in my not so humble opinion.
