The only spec I found in the manual was

Headstock:
Spindle Thread:
1-1/4 x 8 TPI RH (1) or
M33 x 3.5 RH (2)
Headstock Bore: No. 2 Morse Taper (#2 MT)
Headstock Swivel: 0 to 360 degrees, with
detents at 0, 22.5, 45, and 90 degrees.
Outboard End Internal Thread: M20 x 1.5 LH
Spindle Index: 24 divisions (every 15 degrees)

Many hardware stores sell thread gauges to measure the number of threads.  With a thread count many of those same stores may carry larger nuts with the most common thread counts; or one might have to go to Grainger's for the nuts.  Some running around and relatively small expense, but a way to confirm before ordering something more expensive, awaiting delivery, and possibly having to exchange.

Old Delta 12" 46-701 in great condition. Had it about 20+ years and turned 1 part.

Don't forget, its a right hand thread, so if you grab it while its still spinning, it will un screw itself off. You'll need a lock nut jambed against it or bottom it out someway. I kind of assume you are making one?
