I use Milwaukee Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register
With drills and drivers, the normal drill/driver will handle screws up to two inches with ease. (I have driven much larger) When you need to drive longer screws for something like stud framing or a deck, where the screws a 2-1/2"- 3-1/2" long, the impact gun works wonders.

I use these a few times a week, not in a professional daily use manner. I have not been disappointed with the performance. For my type of use currently the extra $100 for the Fuel version isn't necessary. For occasional use handyman, DIY, homeowner, or even semi-pro, these are more than enough.

Is the Milwaukee drill with a keyless chuck? If so, will it stay tight and hold the tool?

Been happy with the Milwaukee M12's.  I use the 1/4" hex drive one the most.

I think most keyless chucks have jaws that rotate with the sleeve that you tighten with, so they tend to tighten themselves rather then slip!!. We used them drilling steel.

I have both Milwaukee and Dewalt.  I like them both.  Both are 18v.  They don't get a ton of use but both get the job done when I need them.

Ed - Thanks for the Tool Brand picture.  I know there has been a lot of consolidation in recent years but was not aware that it has come to that level.

I'll add that some of the companies listed above own much more than just the companies listed. The chart is ONLY the tool companies. If you look up a company like Bosch, they are truly a huge corporation.
This chart is about a year and a half old, some things may have changed.
