Hey guys,

Here are a couple of photos of a small jewelry box I turned for my sister. The wood is Rimu, a native New Zealand hardwood. It's sitting on a coaster for scale.

C&C welcome.

Cheers,
Alistair

Well done well done.  The fit and finish are excellent and love how you have the fit together.

My wife's cousin lives in NZ and we hope to see her some day and hope to maybe do some fly fishing for the steelhead.  Smiley   Thumbs Up

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.

Arlin, if you ever do make it down to NZ you'll have to go to a local woodturners meeting. My old club, the South Auckland Woodturners Guild, has weekly meetings and are a great group of people. You may even head home with a couple of bowl blanks in your carry on!
