It looks pretty good
Are you no longer a fan of "vortex bowls" now that you've built one?

Thanks Ed. Its not that I am not a fan. I just wish it was easier to  get more shape out of it. I do mostly segmenting and have a couple of pattern i want to try. But who knows never say never

I'm not a big fan of the standard, straight sided ones that make up the majority of these pieces. I think many times they begin to look far too similar to one another.
I have been looking into these for quite some time now and really there is no limit to what shapes you can build.
Here are two examples, this is NOT my work.
These are two photos I found that display what I consider the next level in this style of construction. These should give you something to think about for (possibly) your next one.

The one on the left is mine (fisher dizzy bowl).  Quite of few members in the woodclub have made the straight tapered dizzy/tornado bowl.  I like southwest potter designs.  So made a dizzy bowl in that shape.  Yes, it uses a few more blanks.  But I felt it was worth it.

Thank you.
I have been pretty silent on this forum since joining.  Some personal reasons (health) and other commitments (WTP forum)..  I hope to start participating more as the year goes on.  This site has helped me in improving my skills.

I hope your health improves and thanks for the compliment to this site.
I think it has helped many of us to improve our skills and/or knowledge, but i'm a little bit biased.
