Gladly, Chris!  What details would you like.  Not terribly difficult if you have a metal lathe.

In prior thread I learned about collet chucks, but not handles.  What's the intended use?  Is every one a different collet size?

Don, it makes it simple to remove the tool for sharpening...I like that quite a bit.  The handles take ER-20 collets which go up to 19mm (5/8").  I've got 5/8" collets in all of them, and 5/8" shanks on most of my tools.  I can stick any tool in any handle without any fuss.

Now I understand.  I would be in too much of a hurry to bother to unhandle a tool for sharpening, using a Robo Rest have sharpened gouges to within 1 1/4" of the handle end of the flute.

Nice handles Jeff. I’ve made a few “quick and dirty” versions by using cheap collet chucks from China secured in some alloy tube and covered in plastic pipe.

Thanks, Wil.  I thought about buying cheap collet chucks too...certainly easier than making them!  I wanted to keep the size of the "nut" minimal and still have a 5/8" capacity..that would mean using ER-25 collets.  Everything I could find in ER-25 size, the through hole in the chuck itself was smaller than 5/8"...not what I wanted.

Yeah, I know what you mean Jeff. I’ve limited myself to using a 1/2” shaft but even so I still need to open out the hole in the ER20 chuck body as it only has a 10mm through hole. I open them up to 13mm using a glass drill as the steel is quite hard.
