i have a cyclone collector and vent it outside.so its a 0 micron filter. I live in southern Saskatchewan and really dont notice a whole lot of heat loss in the winter

If venting outside is an option I highly recommend it. Plus when using a chip separator it doesn't vent enough to worry about.
