Anyone know where I can get some decent turquoise stone? I want to use some for inlays, everywhere I looked had mixed reviews.

Thanks Richard!
That's a good source. Prices are good too--from what I've seen out there.
I look a lot on the web and have found some decent on ebay---also some bad when trying to buy bulk.  It's buyer beware--have bought some dyed or painted rock, looked good till I crushed it.  Even with that, there are still good "finds" there to a diligent searcher.

Everyday liberating nice things from ordinary chunks of wood---and I like gnarly wood, the outcome is nearly always better than the start.

Keep your eyes open for a gem and mineral show in your area.  A year ago I got a pound of scrap turquoise for $20. Will last me a long time

I've never heard of a gem and mineral show where I'm at. I'd have to travel a couple hours for that
