End of Summer
Aug 27th, 2018 at 10:01am

We're coming up on Labor day weekend, the unofficial end of summer. Many people view this weekend as the time to start thinking about holiday projects.
Are you planning on building Christmas ornaments, or other small items for gift giving this year. It's a good time to stock up on supplies and certain species like Holly and Redheart, obviously popular.

QOTW
Are you planning to make turned items for gift giving this year, if so what?

Being the greedy bast**d that i am. they will all be for me!!!!! Shocked Grin

Actually, I'm still swamped in the store for the next 3 weeks or so.

DO need to try to make some turnings for the store for the xmas buying season.

About half will be turned items while the others will get something off the cnc, that way I can make 2 at once.

Just finish 16 potpourri pots for my wife’s Rosary friends, now I can play with new toy I brought back from SWAT this weekend, Robust AB. Let the chips fly.

I'm making spinning tops,   and some NE bowls.   Tops are easy to turn     and fun to  color.
